Kohler Home Standby Systems are designed to give peace of mind in any weather and any situation. When the grid goes down these systems will have the power back up and running in under 10-seconds. The system consists of the automatic transfer switch (ATS) and Kohler home standby generator. The ATS monitors the normal utility input and transfers the load connection to the standby system when the power goes out. The generator set is connected to the ATS and starts automatically when the ATS senses a power outage.
